July Calendar Page and Slice Design Card Giveaway

Hi everyone! I want to thank everyone for their very kind words as I dealt with my illness last week. I appreciate your patience in my absence and your well wishes!

I am back today to share with you my July calendar page. A friend of mine created a wonderful spiral bound calendar for me a few years ago. I used if for EVERYTHING!! I kept it in my purse and it helped me stay straight on dental appointments, doctor checkups, baseball games and more. It was great because I could jot down say, the kids weight at their checkup on the date of the checkup then when I was done, I saved the calendar and it was like a journal book with info for all four of my kids from the whole year...in ONE place! When the year ended I struggled without it. I decided I HAD to try to make my own. It wasn't the same but I enjoyed it nonetheless. This time I decided to make a mini-scrapbook. Each page had a spot for a picture relevant to our family and that month. Here's July's:

This picture was PERFECT for my July page. Don't you think?! It was taken at last year's Fourth of July party at our neighbor's house. To create the actual calendar, I used my Stampin' Up Calendar stamp. For the titles and star I used my Slice and the Calendar design card. After I got all my calendar pages together, I bound them together with my Bind-It-All. Now when I'm done I have a mini scrapbook that holds pics of the family and notes about our year! Gotta love that! I'd like to thank Deb for the original calendar (which I still have) and the inspiration for the one I created. I never would've thought of that on my own!

I had the great fortune of being chosen as the random winner on the Making Memories blog. What did I win? Well, I won the last 12 Slice design cards that they have released!!! They arrived yesterday and I can't wait to play with them!! I did already have 1 of them so I have decided that I will give it away to a random winner on my blog. How does that sound?! TOMORROW is the BIG day so be sure to come back and see how you can win. I promise, it will be very easy!!! All details will be announced tomorrow.

Thanks for joining me today! Hopefully, I'll see you again tomorrow!

Bella Digi Monday Challenge

Hi all! I am feeling better now. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful well wishes. Now, let's hope I'm done for real and have no more sneak attacks. LOL! It's Monday so that means a new challenge on the Bella Digi Studio Challenge Blog. Michelle issued this week's challenge which was to create something with the Dancin' Chick image. This was easy as that 'lil is so darn cute. Here's my card:

To start my card, I scored it so that the front was shorter than the inside then I ran it through my Cuttlebug with the new Ruler Embossing folder from the Measure by Measure embossing border set. The chick was colored with Copic Markers then cut with Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities and mounted on a Scallop Circle. The papers are all from American Crafts. The title was cut using my Chicken Noodle limited edition font then I added shimmer to the title and ruler with my Copic Spica Glitter pens. A touch of ribbon and a button finished it off.

Be sure to visit the Bella Digi Studio Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the design team has created. And if you'd like to participate in the challenge, YOU could be our next guest designer.

Here's How To Play: To participate in the Weekly Challenge, please create a *new* project using any Bella Digi image following the current week's theme. You must link to your project using the link tool at the bottom of the post on the main Bella Challenge Blog. A winner will be chosen via random.org and that person will receive the blog candy listed in the challenge post. In addition, the DT will choose their favorite three projects from all participants and ONE winner will be chosen to be the following week's Guest Designer. To be considered for the top three, you must have purchased an image from the shop (unless otherwise noted)...however, you don't have to use the purchased image in that week's challenge.

Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow with another fun project to share! Hope you can stop by!

OMG!!

Just when I thought all was good, MORE KIDNEY STONES! I cannot believe it! I thought I had passed it/them but alas, yesterday the pain returned. My bookmark sits on my table, still not completed. Sigh. I am hoping I get over this quickly so I can return to some normality.

My sincerest apologies for my absence! But, when I return next week, hopefully well, I will have a fun Slice Design Card giveaway so please check back to find out how to enter!

Thanks for your patience and well wishes! Have a wonderful weekend and I will see you again next week!

Family Photographer

Many of you know how much Shelby LOVES the camera. She doesn't care if it's pointed at her or if she's the one doing the pointing. I think we may have to see if Santa can find her one this year {wink}. Anyway, last Fourth of July we went to a friend's house and their daughter had a little camera. Shelby got a hold of it and took pics ALL night long! So, here's the layout I made with the pics I got of her taking pics...

The large circles were hand drawn, fussy cut then distressed. All other elements on this page were cut using my Slice machine. The 'family' word is from the Words and Expressions design card, 'photographer' is from the font on the Animal Crackers design card and the arrow and camera are both from the Travel USA design card. The paper is from Making Memories Just Chillin Teen (girl) collection. To create the photo mat I took two of the same page from the spiral journal notebook and pieced them together. The flash of the camera was colored in with a Copic Spica Glitter pen to give it a shimmer.

Thanks for stoppin' by today! I'll be back tomorrow to share my JustRite bookmark. See you then!

Sorry guys!!!

I was supposed to share my JustRite bookmark yesterday but late Tuesday, I fell ill. Kidney stones. Yep, it was rough. I was up most of the night in pain and when I was finally able to rest, it was daylight. Rocky had to go to work and I had four kiddos in need of attention. Thankfully, big broghers Brian and Seth were here to help with the little ones. By mid-afternoon I was able to move and the soreness was gone. I ended up going grocery shopping but by the time I got home it was late and I was tired. So, needless to say I didn't get my bookmark finished. But, I will complete it by this weekend to so I can share it with you. It's the idea within the bookmark I like so much. I am making the first one for my mom.

I'm sorry I don't have a project to share today and I missed the Friends with Flair sign up yesterday too. Sigh. I will be back tomorrow to share one of my favorite layouts from last year. I hope you can stop by!

Today is...

Technique Tuesday over on the Bella Digi Studio Challenge Blog and I have a pictorial up on faux stitching if you'd like to check it out.

I had totally intended to share something crafty with you today but my muse eluded me for the last few days. I have been so busy and finished so many projects since the move that I guess I was a bit, um, tired. I started a project for this week's JustRite challenge and got the focus done and couldn't go any further. I thought of an idea last night to help me finish it off an I did work on it a bit this morning but I'm not finished. I'll share it tomorrow.

On another note, I am seriously wanting to plant a fall garden. I've been researching what plants grow best in OK and what to plant with what to keep bugs away. Our garden will be very small, especially since it'll be our first one, but I hope that it will yield enough for us to have some good eats. If you have any tips or pointers I'd LOVE to hear them!

Before I go I'd like to announce that my Recipe Project from last week won Honorable Mention in the JustRite challenge! I'm so excited and hopefully tomorrow I'll find my new Spellbinders Impressabilities in my mailbox. I was also chosen for a giveaway on the Making Memories Blog last week and will be receiving the 12 new Slice design cards that just shipped to stores! I was in shock to say the least. I do already have one of them so Slice users, stay tuned as I will be giving away a new Slice Design Card very soon!

Well, I'm off to play with my kids today. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and I'll be back with my JustRite bookmark challenge project tomorrow.

Thanks for stoppin' by!

Challenge Monday

Hey everyone! I hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed your Father's Day with your Dad and/or hubby! I know I did. I'm back today to share a project I made for this week's challenge on the Bella Digi Studio Challenge Blog. This week's challenge is brought to us from Lora and it is to use flowers and pearls on your project. Well, that's easy enough, right?! Here's my creation...

As you can see I have a thing for kraft this week. LOL! On top of my kraft card base I added a piece of AC Cardstock I embossed with my D'vine Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing folder. The patterned paper, ribbon and cardstock tag are all from the Melissa Frances Vintage Posey collection. I picked it up when I was at the show in Arlington 'cause I just knew her stuff would be perfect with my Bella images! After printing my Deedee I colored her with my Copics. Using Daphne's tutorial I added some pink flock to the dress and hat then colored the flower on the hat with my Illuminate Smooch Ink. Next I cut and embossed the image with my Oval Nesties and mounted it with a Scallop Oval. To finish it off I ran a strip of pearls under the sentiment on the tag. It is hard to see under all the layers but the square piece under the ovals is actually a floral pattern and Deedee has a flower on her hat. And as usual, I used my Quick Quotes Chalk Inks to ink my edges and the embossed swirls.

Be sure to stop by the Challenge Blog to view the other DT member's creations! And, if you can find the time, please visit their blogs and leave 'em some love.

Thanks so much for stoppin' by today! I hope you'll join me again tomorrow!

Another quick card for Dad...

Hey, it's finally Saturday!! Yeah! Do you have any special plans for the weekend? Us, not really. We'll just hang out around the house and get ready for Dad's return tomorrow! I do have another super quick card to share with you today. This one is for my Dad...

Again I started this card with a kraft base. Are you surprised? hehehe The plaid paper is from October Afternoon's Farm Fresh collection kit. The red star was cut with my Spellbinders Star Nesties from some Making Memories paper (Big Kids collection from Target). The tag, ribbon and green star are also from the MM kit and the brad is from my collection. I stamped the sentiment using my JustRite 1 5/8" wood stamper and center from Just a Note Borders and Centers set. I used the 15 point font from the 2" with Bonus 15 pt Font and Center to create my custom sentiment on the outer edge. After stamping, I cut it with my Circle Nesties then embossed it and adhered it to the center of my big star.

Simple but nice. My dad will love it. Thanks for stopping by today! I will be taking tomorrow off to spend with hubs and the kids but please join me again on Monday to see a fun card I created for the next week's challenge on the Bella Digi Studio Challenge Blog.

FWF: #1 Dad

Hi and thanks for stoppin' by for another Friends with Flair Friday! I have a super quick and easy card to share with you today that I created for my hubby for Father's Day. In case you have forgotten, Father's Day is Sunday! Yes, 2 days from now Sunday! But, no worries! If you haven't created your card yet, perhaps you can pull some inspiration from mine.

The moment I saw the May Retailer KOTM I knew I HAD to have it! I LOVE the circle grid stamp and couldn't wait to ink it up! I started with a 5x5 kraft cardstock card and embossed the left edge with my new Cuttlebug Star border embossing folder from the Measure by Measure set! Then I layered on a piece of kraft patterned paper I snagged in a kit from Fancy Pants in Arlington. Next I added a strip of Core'dinations for Jillibean embossed cardstock that I sanded and layered on my stamped circle. The stickers I used for the sentiment are also from the Fancy Pants kit. A touch of twine and a button finished off my card. All the edges were inked with Quick Quotes Chalk Ink before adhering.

See, told you it was super fast and super easy! I know my hubby will love the stars. He's been on a motorcycle road trip to California with a friend for about a week and a half now and is due home on Sunday! We will welcome him back with his card and a yummy home cooked meal! Can't wait for him to return...miss him something terrible.

I also have a pictorial over on the Bella Digi Studio Challenge Blog today that shows you how to create flowers with the new Cuttlebug Quilling Dies. I hope you can check it out! If you have any questions about those dies feel free to email me at katie@scrap-mart.com.

Thanks so much for stoppin' by! And, just so you know, I read and appreciate EVERY comment! I'll be back tomorrow with more crafty fun and I hope you can join me!

Strike a Pose

My Shelby LOVES to have her picture taken. It doesn't matter who's holding the camera or what she's wearing at the time. If she sees me with the camera she immediately starts posing for pics. She often finds my camera and takes pics of herself too. lol

Here's a layout I created that is featured on the Scrap-Mart blog today.

I started this layout by cutting various sizes of butterflies using the Slice and Just Chillin' Teen design card. I adhered them to the upper left hand corner of my layout with repositionable adhesive then misted the that area only with some Glimmer Mist. I used the font on the Spring design card mixed with my own handwriting to complete the journaling. The papers on the right side of the layout are a mixture of American Crafts Dear Lizzy and Letterbox patterns. The outlines around the boxes were created by hand using a black Triart marker. The title is a mixture of AC Thickers, chipboard pieces and die cuts. The banner was created using my Quickutz 2x2 Triangle Pennant and Banana Split 4x8 font. I also added some American Crafts ribbon, felt flowers, Remarks stickers and Dimensional Stickers. I added one of the butterflies I used as a mask under a metal butterfly from Making Memories. I used Sketch 188 from Pencil Lines as inspiration for this layout.

This layout is very different from my normal style. I like how it turned out though! I appreciate you stoppin' by today! I hope you'll join me tomorrow for Unity's Friends with Flair!

JustRite Friday Challenge 022:

Hello everyone! I know I said I was going to take today off but that was until I decided to participate in the JustRite Friday Challenge! This week's challenge is sponsored by Spellbinders and who could resist a chance to win some new Nesties? And, the prizes are ones I don't have so it's even better!

The challenge this week has two parts. First, we have to create a Summer Recipe project. I have a special friend I've really been wanting to give some of my recipes to and this was the perfect opportunity to get started. The second part of the challenge is to actually share the recipe on your blog. That's easy! I LOVE sharing recipes!

I have quite a few pics to share so we'll start with those and I'll post my recipe after. I decided to make a gift set so I pulled out some plastic sheets and my Big Shot Pro Pillow Box Die and created a large pillow box. Then I grabbed my Spellbinders Labels Eight to create my recipe card...

I decided there was no better paper to use than October Afternoon's Farm Fresh collection. I wrapped the pillow box with the striped sheet, added a piece of the polka dot paper then tied it off with a ribbon. For the label, I used my JustRite 1 3/16" Recipe Set. The border I used was a half-border that said "Family Favorite Recipes" and I cut the Recipes part off. Don't worry, I saved it but it was easier to do this than try to mask it. Since it was a half-border I had to stamp it twice...I eyeballed it and got lucky! Then I used my Spellbinders Oval Nesties to cut it out, mounted it on a Scallop Oval and added the "Recipes" die cut. Here's a closer view of the box...

Now for the recipe card itself. After cutting the Labels Eight, I cut a second piece, using just a scrap strip, to create the pocket. I wanted it to have a personal touch so I hand wrote the recipe instead of using computer journaling. I wrote the list of ingredients on one card and the instructions on another then tucked them into the pocket. I then added a piece of ribbon, like on the box, and tied a knot on the end. To create the title, I used my JustRite Times New Roman Upper Case alphabet (25 pt) and my Rectangular Stamper. I had to stamp it in two parts since I didn't have enough letters to do the entire thing. First, I stamped the 'Chicken & and the Tortellini' then I added the rest to the stamper and removed the excess letters and stamped again. I had to use a Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with my positioning but the NEW CLEAR BLOCKS would've been perfect here!!! After stamping I cut with my Oval Nesties and matted with the Scallop Oval again then added some rhinestones and the food and silverware die cuts. I didn't have any metallic cardstock so I cut the silverware out of white and colored with my Grey Copic. Here's a closer view of the recipe card...

and here's a peek with the cards out of the pocket...

and one final pic...a look at the recipe card inside the box...

See, there's still plenty of room to add more recipes! Well, what do you think?

And now for the recipe...

Chicken & Cheese Tortellini Salad

1 lb cooked fajita chicken
1 bag frozen cheese tortellini
1 bag Italian salad mix
1 cup creamy Ceasar dressing
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
2 cups croutons

Cook pasta according to package directions. Heat chicken through. Toss with salad, dressing, cheese and croutons. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

I have to tell you that this recipe is the FAVORITE in my house. Even my kids eat it...ALL of them! It is so fast and easy and great for a quick summer dinner. You could easily cook the pasta and chicken ahead of time and serve it cold as well.

Thanks for stoppin' by today and thanks to JustRite and Spellbinders for the chance to win some awesome goodies! I'll be back tomorrow with a fun layout and I hope you can join me!

Biker Babe

Last year Rocky bought a Harley. Everyone is the house loves riding with him...even the little ones. While they don't get to get out on the open road, Dad sometimes endulges them with rides around the yard. I found some GREAT papers at Michael's and just HAD to have them for these pics...

This layout came together super fast. The background page already had all the wording on it so I tore a coordinating sheet to mount the photos on and added the pics. The title was created with my Quickutz 4x8 Chick-a-Dee alphabet then highlighted with the line of rhinestones underneath. That was it! Shelby loves looking through her album and gets a kick out of seeing herself on Daddy's bike!

Thanks for stoppin' in today! Thursday is my turn on the Scrap-Mart blog and I hope you stop by to see my layout!

Katie

edited to add: I had planned to take today off but accidentally scheduled this post for today instead of Wednesday! {blush} So, I am taking Wednesday off instead but will be back Thursday to share a project I have featured on the Scrap-Mart blog.

Fun Monday!!

Good morning everyone! I'm back today as a stop on the Bella Digi Studio Blog Hop! If you're just joining in, please click HERE to start at the beginning. And, please be sure to read the instructions so you know how to play along to be eligible for blog candy and next week's Guest Designer spot!

I shared a sneak peek with you yesterday of my card for the hop. It was also a peek into the challenge for this week. This week I challenge you to create a card and make your SENTIMENT the focus of the card. Take a look at my full card...

I printed the sentiment from the new Celebrations Sentiment Pack then trimmed it down, punched the edges with my SU! Ticket Punch then tied off some SU! twine. To make the card base, I used my Big Shot Pro A6 Scallop Card die then cut the oval out using my Spellbinders Oval Nestabilities. Under the sentiment is a strip of crepe streamer paper that I airbrushed with my Copics then added hints of sparkle with my Copic Spica Glitter Pens. Now take a look at the inside of the card...

The cake is from the Birthday Party Set. I colored it with my Copics then masked it with the oval cut from the card front and airbrushed the scalloped edge. I added a bit of sparkle to the cake with my Spica Glitter Pens.

Thanks for joining us on the hop today! Next on the hop is Michelle! Please don't forget to leave the girls a little love when you visit and if you haven't already join the rest of the followers so you never miss out!

And don't forget to look for that special blinkie at the TOP OF THE SIDEBAR...hint, hint, clue, clue!! hehehe

Happy Saturday!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great week! I'm back today to share a fun card I made for the store when they moved to their new location.

This card is actually rather simple. I used the Exclusive Scrap-Mart Bessie the Bovine BossKut die, made some grass, added a strip I embossed with the Quickutz Dots embossing folder and tied it off with some raffia. To give the cow more detail I shaded it with my Stampin' Up! pastels. For the sentiment I used the limited edition Quickutz Chicken Noodle Revolution alphabet. The new address was printed out and adhered inside the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I will be back tomorrow with a sneak peek of a card I made for Monday's challenge on the Bella Digi Studio Challenge Blog. And Monday is also the day we have the Grand Opening Blog Hop. Daphne will have a fun giveaway and we'll all be showcasing a new image. Many new images are already in the store so stop by and check them out!

Hello and welcome back for another Friends with Flair! If you're visiting my blog then you must {LOVE} Unity too! Today I am sharing a pretty but simple card I created for a friend...

The distressed corner and calendar were both from Unity's Anniversary kit. The special day is from the Sassafras Lass Make a Wish acrylic stamp set. The white circle was cut out with Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities then embossed with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. The butterflies are from Unity's Bevy of Butterflies. I added some ribbon and pearls to finish it off.

Thanks so much for stoppin' by today! If you haven't already, please sign up to be a follower! I'd love to have you join me more often. I'll be back tomorrow with another fun project and I hope you can join me!

Smile!!

Shelby {LOVES} to play with my camera. Whether it's my point and shoot or my camera on my phone, she's always clickin' away. I gathered a few shots she took of herself to create this layout.

I created this layout for Jenn's Old, New, Borrowed, Blue challenge on the Scrap-Mart blog. For the old, I used my Circle Nestabilities to cut the small circles in the upper left of the page. I used tons of new stuff: Nerdy Bird Collection Kit, EK Success Punch and Dear Lizzy Ribbon and Chipboard. To cover the borrowed part, I used a sketch I found on Pencil Lines (Sketch 187). And for the blue part, I tucked a blue flower stick pin in the knot on the ribbon (and of course, there's blues in the papers too).

We have challenges regularly, on Friday's on the Scrap-Mart blog. Stop by sometime and check 'em out. You just might be inspired! Thanks for stoppin' by today! I'll be back tomorrow for Friends with Flair! Hope you can join me!

Wish Pickle

Hello everyone! I'm super excited you're here today! Today is the day we release the very first challenge on the Bella Digi Studio Blog!

The challenge is simply to use the Wish Pickle image and create a wish themed project. Here's my creation...

I created a wall hanging for my daughter's bedroom. After printing Wish Pickle I colored her in with my Copic markers. What you can't see in the picture is that I colored her wings then covered them with vellum and colored the vellum withmy clear Copic Spica Glitter Pen. For the base of the wall hang, I used a piece of thick plastic sheeting I had cut in the shape of a flower using an Accucut die. Then I layered up some patterned papers, added some ribbon, flowers and bling. The title is a combination of rub-ons from Basic Grey and Quick Quotes.

Please visit the Bella Digi Studio blog and see what the other Digi Divas have created!

I will be taking tomorrow off to recuperate from my travels and all the excitement but I'll be back Wednesday and I hope you will be too!

Thanks,
Katie

Little Blessings

There's no other way to describe a sweet baby...a Little Blessing. Our neighbors recently had a sweet baby girl...that they have prayed for years to have. They have two older boys ages 13 and 10. I was so thrilled for them and just had to make them a card. Here's what I came up with...

I made this card tall so I could add fun ruffles to the bottom. I started with a piece of patterned paper from American Crafts Dear Lizzy line then tucked some ruffled streamer paper under and covered the seam with some scrunched ribbon from Making Memories. I used my Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities to cut the white circle and my Slice and the Animal Crackers design card to cut the little onesie and for the inside sentiment. I added some silver half pearls to the onesie for snaps and a row of pearls under the sentiment on the card front. The "Little Blessing" was stamped using a Sassafras Lass stamp set. Here's a peek at the inside...

Also, before I go, the grand opening has been pushed back a week for Bella Digi Studio. I'll have more details on the fun soon. You'll want to make sure you join in the fun for chances to win *free* images! See you tomorrow!

10 Things...

Today I want to share with you a layout I created for my daughter's book. It is a two-page, multi-photo layout which are rare for me these days. Take a peek...

The papers I used for this layout are from Scenic Route's Loveland collection. I LOVE Sarah's big arrows and soooo miss seeing new SR collections! I used my Apron Lace Fiskars border punch along the bottom of the solid piece of pink paper and layered it up with some fun stripes. The little door and flowers were cut using the pop up dies from the Quickutz Santa's Workshop Holiday release. The title was stamped using Unity stamps then the number 10 was tucked behind the doors. The large heart is a canvas die cut from Quick Quotes that I misted with Glimmer Mist. I tied a ribbon around it to hold closed the little Circle Mini Accordian album that lists the 10 things I love most about my Shelby. The other embellishments were in the collection kit.

Well, there you have it. Thanks for joining me! Stop by tomorrow to see a cute baby card I made for our neighbors to celebrate the birth of their little girl. Hope to see you then!

Friends with Flair: Divalicious

Welcome back for another round of Friends with Flair! I'm so glad you stopped by today. The card I'm sharing with you today was inspired by my friend and fellow DT member, Eva Dobilas. Check it out...

First, I created the card base by die cutting on the fold using Spellbinders Scallop Circle Nestabilities. I created a mat with Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities then another layer with Spellbinders Labels One. The image is stamped from Unity's Girl of the Moment set then colored with Copics. I added some Eyeliner Black Sparkly Fluff from Our Craft Lounge to her sweater and shoes. The sentiment was stamped then cut out with Spellbinders Double End Tags and airbrushed before removing it from the die. Glitter brads and a touch of ribbon finish it off.

There you have it, friends. I'm glad you stopped by. I'll be back tomorrow with a fun two-page, multi-photo layout! I hope you can join me!

Seeds of Kindness

Ever since Scrap-Mart started carrying stamps, I've been almost obsessed with stamping. I started scrapbooking over 10 years ago but stamping is not something that really interested me until recently. That's not to say I didn't own tons of un-used ink pads and stamps. Anywho, I have really been stamping and making cards more than scrapping and last month, I took the Copic Certification class. Here's a card I created with a variety of stamps and colored with my Copics...

I created the square cardbase with Kraft cardstock and layered up some new Sassafras Lass Cherry Delicious papers from the 6x6 Wee Bundle. The image is from the Rock the Farm set by The Greeting Farm and was cut out using my Spellbinders Oval Nestabilities. The sentiment is from the JustRite 1 5/8" Seeds of Kindness Borders and Centers set, which was cut out with Spellbinders Labels One. All edges were distressed then inked with my Quick Quotes Chalk Inks. I tied it off with some SU! Real Red ribbon.

I'm so glad you stopped by today! Join me again tomorrow for Unity's Friends with Flair hop! Hope to see you!

Home Sweet Home

Howdy everyone and Happy Wednesday! I can't believe how fast the week is flying by. Must've been the long weekend. Anyway, I've got a layout to share with you today...

This was the first picture I took of our new home! While it's not the best picture, I couldn't help but get it into a layout right away. This layout was featured on the Scrap-Mart Blog on National Scrapbook Day. You can click HERE to read the product details.

On another note, I am out of town for the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington, TX. Today is set-up day and the show will open Thursday and run through Saturday. If you are in the area, stop by the Scrap-Mart booth and say "hi". I'd love to meet you! If you are interested in seeing what other shows Scrap-Mart will be at click HERE. I will return on Monday, just in time for the Bella Studios Digi challenge to commence! I hope you'll join me for that as well.

I will have a few short, pre-scheduled posts to keep you busy while I'm away. Thanks for stoppin' by.

BIG Announcement!!!! and Blog Candy Winner

Hello all! I'm so glad you stopped by today! I have some super exciting news to share with you! The other day I was on Splitcoast perusing threads when I ran across a DT call for a brand new Digi Stamp company. I got in touch with the owner, Daphne, sent her the requested info and woke up Saturday morning to an email asking me to join the team! I'm super excited to be a Bella Digi Diva! You can read the announcement post on her blog HERE.

Daphne has already issued the new DT a challenge and we have a special image that will be released on June 7th! Please hop on over the the Bella Studios Digi Blog and sign up to be a follower there too so you'll never miss a release!

You can see the images that are already available at the store HERE.

And, for some more crafty inspiration, you can visit the blogs of the other new DT members and leave them some love too.

Also, it occurred to me that I had not chosen and announced the winner of the blog candy for becoming a follower. So here goes.....the lucky winner is TANYA!! Thanks to all of you who became a follower and visited me on Unity's Blog hop. I'm hoping you'll visit often. Tanya, please email me at sethdsmom@yahoo.com with your address so I can get your goodies in the mail!

Thanks for stoppin' in today and sharing in my exciting news! I am also still designing and working with Scrap-Mart so nothing has changed there! ;) I'll be back tomorrow with more crafty goodness!
