Hello and Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was busy, as usual but I did manage to get in a touch of creative time for myself.
The other day at work, I was searching for 2010 printable calendars and I ran across one that printed the months in thumbnail size. I printed a few and brought them home. I'm always looking at a calendar for one reason or another so I thought it would be fun to make myself a key chain calendar. Here's a pic of the front....
To create the pages, I used the Mini Accordian Album (square) from this year's Quickutz Gift Set release. Since the pages are scored in between for the accordian fold, they were easy to pull apart into individual pages. I cut the calendars so that they were smaller than the pages and would leave a border around them. For the cover, I used my retired Quickutz Calendar set to cut the '2010' and my Spellbinders Star Nestabilities for the star. The little alpha stickers are from Making Memories. I chose to use the Mocha Mama ink from the Quick Quotes Powder Puff Chalk Ink set. Here's a peek at the last page...
Again I used my Making Memories Tiny Alpha stickers for the back. The bead chain was found in my stash. Now I can check the calendar anytime, anywhere. hehehe
Intent{ion}. I have already begun choosing some intentions for 2010. I will be working on a mini-book for myself to document my journey very soon....something I have never done!!! Most of my projects are for others, typically my family. But, this year, I will make something for myself. Okay, something else since I just made myself a key chain calendar. hehehe Anywho, Rocky and I were talking this morning and I was explaining my intention theory to him. He likes it. Time management has always been a problem for me. Always. I am HORRIBLE when it comes to schedules. But, my intention for this year is to change that. I will focus more on staying on task, staying, well, focused. That is my first intention for 2010.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a great week and I'll be back soon!
Katie

What a great little project!
That is such a great idea and so cute too. I believe I might just be lifting this one, Miss Katie! Love it.
